Hello,

I wanted to send this message personally.

RISYNTH BIO exists because I believe research suppliers should operate with integrity, even when it would be easier not to.

I could run this business differently. I could follow patterns I see across the industry. Many of them are successful companies, and I don’t fault them for how they operate. But there are moments where I choose to slow things down, explain the “why,” and share what’s happening behind the scenes, even when it doesn’t directly benefit me.

Sometimes that means I sidestep short-term advantages. Sometimes it means explaining why something that looks good on paper isn’t always the best option in practice. And sometimes it means acknowledging imperfections rather than polishing them away.

When there’s an opportunity to teach, I believe we should be learning alongside each other.

You may notice that we occasionally move quickly, share lab notes, or speak plainly rather than perfectly. That’s intentional. Some things are best communicated while they’re fresh, even if every sentence isn’t polished for marketing. Accuracy and honesty matter more to me than appearances.

As we’ve grown, our intake has increased, and with that growth we’ve been able to improve efficiency, shorten timelines, and lower pricing where possible. That’s one of the quiet benefits of scale done responsibly. The past can’t be changed, but processes can be refined, and that’s what we continue to do.

We also recognize that not everyone wants just a storefront. Some researchers want conversation, context, and shared understanding. For those who want that, we’re rebuilding a smaller, focused community space. It’s not a hype channel or a sales room. It’s a place for discussion, lab-side insights, and shared learning.

If that kind of environment resonates with you, you’re welcome to join us. If not, that’s perfectly fine too.

Either way, thank you for being here and for approaching research with intention.
